HDR Images

High Dynamic Range photography is a relative newcomer to the image making process, it’s origins going back to the film making industry, where a scene would be filmed at different exposures, and the resultant footage would be combined to show detail that would be otherwise invisible. While this technique has some advantages, the effects can be overdone and can make images appear over processed and garish. It is my objective to use the technology, but in a subtle and natural way that give resulting images a more natural feel. I hope I have achieved this.
